Welcome To Near North Side - Chicago, IL

Near North Side is the northernmost of the three areas that constitute central Chicago, the others being the Loop and the Near South Side. The community area is north of and east of Chicago's Chicago River, next to Lake Michigan. Its eastern border is the original boundary of the city, North Avenue. Near North Side is known for its extreme affluence, typified by the Magnificent Mile, the Gold Coast, Navy Pier, and the incredible skyscrapers that characterize it.
